Design Ignites Change Social Impact Workshop

Design Ignites Change has announced a first-of-its-kind Social Impact Workshop, produced by Mark Randall, founder of Worldstudio, and Shana Dressler, founder of Social Innovators Collective. The focus of the workshop will be on how to conceive, develop, fund and execute projects for social change. It will take place at Domaine de Boisbuchet, an idyllic country estate located in the Southwest of France, from June 16–23, 2013. The application deadline is March 29, 2013, and there are tuition and fees associated with the program.

The program will also lay down the groundwork for those who are ready for a larger commitment on how to found a social enterprise. At the end of the workshop each participant will leave with a solid understanding of the steps and resources necessary to implement projects and build businesses in a sustainable way. The workshop has been designed for creative professionals and social entrepreneurs as well as advanced college students who are over 21 and have completed their junior year at college or university.
