2013 SEED Award Honorees Announced

Yesterday, Design Corps announced the honorees of its 2013 SEED Awards, recognizing excellence in social, economic, and environmental design. This year’s jury, chaired by Thomas Fisher of the University of Minnesota College of Design, conferred six prizes and ten honorable mentions. The awards will be presented during the annual Structures for Inclusion conference, taking place March 22-24, 2013, in Minneapolis.

The six honorees include:

Maa-Bara (Nyanza, Kenya)

SAGE: Affordable Green Modular Classrooms (Gervais, OR)

Rosa F. Keller Building (New Orleans, LA)

Firm Foundation (Kalimantan, Indonesia)

Puyallup Longhouse (Tacoma, WA)

Sudan Jalle School (Sudan)
