InSB launching Public Interest Design Studio

The Integrated School of Building (InSB), based in Chicago, has just announced a forthcoming “Public Interest Design Studio.” Led by architect Katherine Darnstadt of Latent Design, the new, year-long studio “offers the next generation of socially-minded designers the chance to use their talent and creativity with, by, and for social impact.”

InSB is now calling for a “Community Partner” to serve as the studio’s client, “working side by side with its leaders and student participants in addressing the partner’s needs for project design and delivery.” Community Partner applications are due September 1, 2012.
