Support Next American City

Next American City, the national nonprofit based in Philadelphia and focused on the future of cities, is rounding out 2011 with a year-end appeal of its own, and close to hitting its goal. As featured in our “Top 10 Design Initiatives to Watch in 2012,” published at Archinect, Next American City offers a unique voice and coverage from the front lines of urban change and innovation.

2012 will be a big year of rebuilding for Next American City, with plans to launch a weekly e-publication, called Forefront, and relaunch its already-popular AmericanCity.org website. The organization is also fortunate to have received a long-awaited major grant from the Ford Foundation, and is back under the leadership of Diana Lind, who returns as Executive Director & Editor-in-Chief.
